HDMi cable, 24 Oct 2008
If you need a Hdmi cable, BUY THIS ONE. Don't fall prey to these shop assistants in the high street who want to sell £30 or £80 cables to you. As the other review read "it's digital" that's all there is to it. If you can watch HD through a NAS box attached Cat5 cable to a router and watch that material WIRELESSLY,then what is some "funky" blue/purple exaggerated cable with golden earings and a silk dress going to do for your picture on your new Sony or whatever brand telly LCD you have. The answer..... NOTHING. Get this cable.
Great Picture and Sound Quality!!!!!!, 19 Oct 2008
This is Incredible!!!!
Best Item I've bought on Amazon, at a great price!!
Works very well with my PS3.
I was looking around for a HDMI cable and then found this one.
After reading reviews saying that HDMI cables do not really change in quality with price, I thought that I would test this one for the minor price of around £2.70 including the postage and packaging. I was not disapointed and was amazed by the incredible sound and picture quality!
A Must Buy Item.... Get it NOW!
Value and quality!, 01 Oct 2008
Its hard to review a small lenght of cable, its looks are what you expect, it has two ends and it plugs easily into the back of your telly and the back of your playstation job done.
But theres a little more to it, this cable is good value for money, ive seen some comparitive products charge excessivly for the same product. It aids your gaming experience, your playstation will allow a higher setting and although it doesnt change the digital streaming it will boost the quality!
Great value for money, 14 Aug 2008
This cable is great, it may not be the most expensive on the market and it may not have the designer name that some of the other cables have, but I have to be honest I really couldn't tell the difference! I know you see all the stats and the product description tells you how much better the 50 pound cable will be but to the naked I it will make such little difference its unbelievable. If you have a reasonable HDTV you shouldn't have any worry at all. If you don't which incidentally I dont (I have a 350 pound Hanspree 37") you probably wont notice the difference anyway. In my house we have my CHEAP TV with my CHEAP cable and my dad has a 2000 pound SONY with a very expensive cable. We played alongside each other a couple of times to see the difference in the quality. Now when you put them next to each other there was a difference, it wasn't huge but the was a difference. BUT....how often will you have your cheap cable next to an expensive one???You probably never will, so with this in mind I would say that this cable is just as good as any of the very expensive designer cables on the market. If you want an HD cable for your ps3 and you dont want to spend loads of money, this really is the cable for you. You will enjoy your gaming just as much, you will still think your game looks stunning and you will never look back! My review in short says BUY THIS CABLE, dont waste your time or your hard earned cash on the other over talked, over hyped cables!!

NOT suitable for X-BOX!!!!, 14 Nov 2008
This cable is probably fine, but despite comments on this page to the contrary it will NOT connect an X-Box to an HD-ready TV!
Forget it, 14 Nov 2008
Just got this cable and I must say you DO get what you pay for. Quality of the picture is OK but contrast changes through out, blinks all the time. Oh and did I mention that every time I switch my TV off and on, cable connection can't be found by my Sky Box nor my telly?10 pounds in the bin.
Rusbbish if you ask me, go to Sony or something shop and buy the real thing.
Quality cable for this price range. Work great on 1080p/24, 13 Nov 2008
I my self use QED cables, but my friend don't want to spend crazy money like I'd on QED's.
So we bought this cable and found no issues what so ever.
(Bought 1.2m and 2.4m)
Blu-ray though PS3 shows 1080p/24 on Sammy!
Will recommend this to anyone looking for quality cable at cheap price.
Not fully wired; useless for home cinema, 11 Nov 2008
Tried using this to connect a Panasonic LCD TV to a Panasonic home cinema system.
Picture was fine, but the two devices couldn't communicate. Swapping this for the free cable that came with my V+ soon fixed that problem.
So, avoid if you want this to link a home cinema with a TV.
Product is fine, but Amazon delivery is appauling - too much hassle, 11 Nov 2008
I ordered this cable with Sony Cinema system and paid for the First Class deliver of both items. The cinema arrived on time, was left with the porter. The cable was supposed to be delivered on Saturday (a couple of days after the cinema). It was not delivered. Then royal mail "tried" to deliver on Monday at 2pm (obviously no-one there, except my porter, whom they didn't bother to ask, unlike all the other couriers) and left me a note to pick the cable up at their storage office. Alternatively they could re-deliver in 3 days...making it 1.5 weeks delivery time for the first class courier. I could not believe that there was such a hassle for a £10 cable! This must be a joke. Guys, not worth a hassle, just buy one in a nearby electronics shop.

No complaints., 19 Nov 2008
I got these free with my laptop, but would buy another pair if mine broke.
Brilliant ear phones, they go in your ear far enough to block out some sound, but not too far it hurts.
Great sound quality for the price, you feel with some you're just paying for the logo (the big brands).
Worth buying, especially at THAT price.
Excellent, but I got the right earphone problem., 14 Nov 2008
There are excellent 'phones and for sound quality and comfort I give them 5/5, I would recommend them to anyone. However, after 8 months, the right earphone stopped working and to get it working, i have to hold the wire in a certain place, but for the prce they are, IMO, the best hedphones you can buy.
Great for the price, 11 Nov 2008
I have had these for several months and can honestly say that if you take a bit of time fitting them they generate a very good sound for the money.
Quality!!, 06 Nov 2008
What more can i say....... best £10 i think ive eva spend!!!
Good sound, a good amount of bass!!!
I didnt know what to expect with these but i was very surprised with the sound quality. Very comfortable to wear most of the day.
Only one thing that bugs me is if u eat somethin that is going to crunch in ur mouth you will hear it.
But on the whole, well worth the money!!
Amazing fit and amazing sound quality for a top notch price!, 29 Oct 2008
When I bought these headphones, I was definitely wary about the quality of them because of the low price. I now realise there was no need to be. They fit great and they sound pretty good. Delivery by Amazon was quick and efficient as always. Another great buy! Great as MP3/iPod head/p alternatives. For the average, general listener.

Excellent if you're on a budget, 12 Nov 2008
These earphones come from a great manufacturer. However, they are towards the budget end of earphones as a whole. You can't have things both ways. No-one is going to produce amazing-sounding earphones for less than £20. The cost of top-class components and the sheer research that goes into them makes it impossible.
People will often write "these are so much better than my iPod earphones!". Unfortunately that's not a standard by which to judge good quality sound. iPod earphones are mass-produced in their millions and are only there so you can use the iPod without buying additional equipment.
What these are is a good step up. They handle the range of frequencies ok: in my opinion the bass is over-hyped; the mid frequencies are a little muddy, which can muffle vocals; but the top end has a decent amount of clarity. When handling something like an 808 kick drum (and other bassy booms), they tend to spread the sound unevenly over both ears, an indication that the drivers aren't matched pairs. You are not going to get that back of the throat/top of the neck vibration that better drivers would offer.
On top of that, these earphones are a little bass-heavy, and need to be EQ'd with a treble boost - to my taste - but when you do that you get a nice sparkly top end which (as long as you've fitted them properly!) compliments the natural bassiness of the earphones. If you're listening to a wide variety of music, you might find they suit some styles more than others.
When you feed them with good quality, well-recorded acoustic instruments they seem to come alive a bit more, and they do surprisingly well at distinguishing very subtle details in the upper register, like high stringed instruments and percussion. The flabbyness of the bass doesn't interfere with the higher frequencies which is actually very pleasing.
Oh, the eco packaging is cool, and you get a free badge! A badge I tell you!
These are not going to change my life, nor the way I hear my music, but they are certainly a good use of £17. I was maybe expecting a little more from them, but in retrospect that was a bit silly. They get 3 stars because, in the grand scheme of things, no earphones in this sort of price bracket are ever likely to get more than that. Having said that, I'd struggle to give iPod earphones 1 star, so this is a fantastic improvement.
Another 5* review!, 11 Nov 2008
First of all I'd like to say:
Beware of counterfeit goods! If you are buying a pair of headphonesfor £3 which should cost £16.99, then you're only going to get £3 worth of produce quality. Buy from trusted sources (like Amazon.co.uk for example) and there's very little to go wrong.
The good points:
These headphones are absolutely amazing, provided you can get the fit right (and they provide 3 different sizes of rubber cups to give you a fairly good range of choice. The bass is deep and rich, which is quite surprising for earphones of this size, and the mid range and tweeters are well adjusted to provide a smooth sound. They're small, durable, and very easy to carry around, and make brilliant replacements for my Apple headphones. And for the price there's very little you can go wrong.
The noise sealing is quite good, I can quite happily listen to heavy metal on the tube and drown out the environmental noise with the volume only turned to 50%, without disturbing any of my fellow passengers (in fact, I've asked many of them and they said that it was not noticeable).
The bad points:
I think the main problem with this is common to all in-ear headphones, which is basically every sound you make is magnified. Your footsteps become louder and if the cable bangs against your jacket, it's noticeable, especially if you are listening to quiet music or a podcast. Therefore, this may not be the option of choice for people who like to listen to music while jogging or doing vigorous exercise.
stunning (for the price), 09 Nov 2008
Bought these for use with my ipod. After reading about correct fitting of te silicone bits I spent some time finding the right ones. I also left them on for 24 hours to 'bed-in'.
They are truly stunning in comparison with the supplied litle white things; but they do have limitations. For general run-of-the-mill music usage they are excellent, but for classical music they leave a bit to be desired; but for the price they are truly great headphones. If you want to listed to true audiophile quality music, then you really do need to be using a better source than an mp3, and also you will want to be using a top-end pair of 'cans', or speakers. BUT for use on-the-go I have not (personally) found better for the price.
The only word of warning is they really do a good job of blocking out the outside world, which could be potentially dangerous - so do think about where you use them, and don't use them while biking or driving!!
Packaging!, 01 Nov 2008
I would sincerely love to write a review about my lovely new earphones, but alas, I CAN'T GET INTO THE BLOODY BOX!!!!! Arggh!!
Bog Standard and Over Priced, 29 Oct 2008
Its amazing what a brand name and powerfull marketing can do?
If you do a little research you will see that the following earphones all have the same design:
Sennheiser Cx300,
AKG K324,
Creative EP630,
Sharp HP-MD33S,
Soundwise T4.
This is probabley because they are produced in the same factory?
Sennheiser were not the first to use the design, that was sharp. Sennheiser don't have the best drivers, that is AKG and Soundwise. They are not the cheapest, thats Creative closely followed by Soundwise.
Despite these fact Sennheiser out sell all the other brands combined. Amazing really! They are not bad earphones but you really are just paying for the brand.

Mediocre at best, 19 Nov 2008
We ordered the igroove with high expectations after reading all the reviews. A lot of these rated the igroove above the Bose.. And I think they are right.. That however does not show the soundock/igroove in good light.
The igroove is mediocre at best. As soon as I turned it on I wondered if the equalisers weren't right.. and I looked to set them up but I wasn't able to get the music going. I thought it was the song and i changed that to a higher bit rate song.. that didn't help either.. After trying a lot I realised that the basic problem was with the product. It is a small speaker and is not capable of generating rich music.
It can be mediocre at best. The bose at £290+ is definitely not worth the money. If at all you're adamant invest in the klipsch.
I wouldn't put my money on it though ..
Top Item, 17 Nov 2008
Never heard of Klipsch but after reading the reviews decided to buy one and I am so glad I did.The sound is amazing, good base and top end range, remote works really well, the price on Amazon won't be beat "fantastic value" and it does look nice in black too.Stop here and save yourself time, you won't go far wrong with one of these!
one star is too much, 11 Nov 2008
A sleek looking speaker system that has style. However when it comes to the sound it failed miserably. I bought it on the strength of the good reviews. The sound was jarring and rattling with a very strong uncontrollable base note. I would have expected a sound like this from two cans and a string stretched between. I returned it promptly and am now looking for a speaker system that really delivers the goods.
Excellent sound but..., 11 Nov 2008
Love the product but should just point out that for new generation ipod touch, while it is a dock it does not recharge whilst in use. This is the only drawback if you are going to use it for an extended period ie: a party. If it was not for this one point I would have given all 5 stars. For the money the sound quality is fantastic, almost too much bass, and I never thought I would say that for such small speaker unit. Any controls for other than volume you have to do via your ipod.
Better than the Bose!, 09 Nov 2008
Listened to the £150 (half price!) Bose. This is just so much richer. The price made all the differance aswell, Half that price again. Wonderful

Awful, 25 Oct 2008
The HDMI cable is way too short!! its 1m long which wont get you anywhere!!
The quality is awful aswell doesnt show up as well as other good HDMI cables do. I returned this and bough myself a monster cable now there are some good HDMI cables!

A MEDIUM size Hard Disk Case, 14 Sep 2008
The western digital size passport/mybook drives are too small for this case, however they can be held within due to the elastic strp holding it snug. The case opens up in two one side for the drive and the other for cables or other stuff you'd like to keep. I prefer to keep the included cable with the passport drive which also helps to stop the small drive moving around. On the other side I keep a longer double headed lindy cable (used for older machines where one usb slot is not enough power, so two slots are required) this stops the drive moving the vertically and not put a strain on the strap.
The outer material is a tough protective shell which has a woven feel, to enusre you can keep a grip. Though I would have expected interally for it to be lined with a softer material like high density foam to absorb any knocks, but this was not the case.
At the moment I don't see an alternative product, I'm quite suprised that Case Logic (who make some of the best cases around) haven't got round to improving the product.
Good product, 20 Aug 2008
Recently bought this case for my Trekstor pocket g.u. Provides good protection for the hard drive when travelling, if just a little oversize for the pocket drive.
Great for Iomega Ego External Hard Drives, 30 Jun 2008
Bought this on Amazon to protect my Iomega Ego external hard drive, it fits perfectly - like a glove....great wee case (and drive).....5 stars as it does what it says on the tin! The other people who mark it down because its too big or too small should have looked at the dimensions before buying, is this not the sensible thing to do? I cannot fault this case.
I was slightly worried by the other reviews...., 19 Jun 2008
....but I have to say I am delighted with these cases, I bought two to protect an old 2.5 inch drive and my new western digital 250 gb pasport drive.
The pouch might be slightly bigger than required but there is a band to hold the drive in place and room for a USB cabel on the other side.
The case is well made, solid and certainly feels as if it will offer excellent protection to my nice new external hard drive.
I am delighted with it.
A bit too big for slim portable HDs, 25 May 2008
It looks nice etc., but this pouch is for "slim" hard drives (HDs) from the past. This is not something you can put in your pocket, as it is too big. There is a pocket inside for a USB cord, but it is also too big. One can put two or three cords in there. Since I myself have a slim HD from Western Digital (WD), I would call it - a pouch for two portable HDs from WD. Besides, HD is NOT held securely, as the pocket is too big for my WD, so HD can wobble in 2 dimensions if a force is applied. There is a stretchable band inside that is supposed to hold HD at the top, but it just only toching it rather preventing HD from falling out than holding it tight. I ended up putting more things in the pouch to use a space inside efficiently and hold the hard drive more tight. It is also tricky to connect HD while it is in the pouch, so you have to take it out. Not the most advanced and handy construction. I understand that one can not make something absolutely universal, for all portable HDs. But if you want something handy, small and secure just for your slim HD from Western Digital, this pouch is not perfect al all. It is just to carry HD + USB cord + accessories in the same place in your backpack.

Customer Reviews
Awful, 25 Oct 2008
The HDMI cable is way too short!! its 1m long which wont get you anywhere!!
The quality is awful aswell doesnt show up as well as other good HDMI cables do. I returned this and bough myself a monster cable now there are some good HDMI cables!
Wonderful

Either my pair were faulty or everyone else is deaf!, 19 Nov 2008
I bought these pair of earphones based on many reviews I've read online and on Amazon, and can honestly say that I've wasted my money and time. They seemed like a bargain at only £9.99 with what everyone had to say about them, so decided to go for it. The first thing I did was plug them straight into my iPod and listen to a recording I know very well (the CD is titled 'Gaspar Sanz Guitar Music' on Amazon.co.uk - a superbly detailed recording which I highly recommend) - a good way to test out new media. I was flabbergasted!! The accompanying drum had completely disappeared!!! A sound that was much too low for these little earphones to cope with? It appears so. The treble on these aren't that good either and seem quite tinny and distant. The only good thing to say about them is that they are quite comfy.
I bought these to replace my pair of the Philips SBCHE590/00 earphones which I had for more than 6 years! If you're serious about your music and listen to a wide variety of sound (including orchestral and instrumental classical, baroque and early music) then don't waste your time with these. I'm going to get the Philips ones again as they sound remarkable and realistic, and would advise anyone to do the same.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!, 16 Nov 2008
Absolutely love these..I got the EP 630 about 2 months ago and thought I'd lost them so I ordered these as replacement. Although they're not as Bassy as the 630 the sound is rich and full and more suited to a variety of music than the 630.
The noise isolation is perfect for commuters, you can totally drown out people with cheap headphones who play their music collection for everyone to hear.
As yet I cant fault these don't think I'd want to either, for £9.99 these are like UE for the budget concious.
VERY IMPRESSED.
Replacements for my EP 630s, 15 Nov 2008
My EP 630s called it quits after 20 months, so I decided to upgrade and grab the 830s. Definitely less bass in the 830s, but I can get used to that. The quality of the build certainly is great, and the sound coming through is crisp and clear.
Can't beat the price, either.
ep830, 08 Nov 2008
Ive had these for around 2 months now. these earphones are relatively new. these earphones arnt as bassy as lets say... the ep-630s but the sound on these earphones are much richer, nice high, nice mids, unlike some other earphones which has just nice bass and complete rubbish highs and lows.
i listen to dance, rock, metal, so the higher frequencies mean alot to me.
these earphones are designed pretty well, it comes with 3 different size buds, the middle ones fit me exactly and completely blocks out external sound. the cable is rubber based, not the slippery smooth ones, which are pretty good. the plugs is nicely designed too, covered in rubber which imo, doesnt break easily. plugs gold plated too.
the earphone itself is partially rubber, partially plastic and partially metal. its pretty hard to describe in words, but trust me, these are nicely designed, even putting them in your ear is comfortable because of the triangular grips.
these are awesome earphones and they dont brake easiy. excellent built quality, excellent sound for £9.99! (i got mine for 12.99 - wished i got them now instead :()
Outstanding, 06 Nov 2008
Well I had a cruddy pair of 90p earphones which died within a month (amazed they lasted that long). This time I thought i'd treat myself to a decent pair but having seen some earphones in the region of £200 I didn't think i'd have much luck. I looked around the web and came across Sennheiser but further research revealed the amount of fakes around and I just wasn't prepared to take the risk.
I heard the creative EP-630s were exactly the same as Sennheisers so I checked the review and liked what I heard. Then I discovered creative had upgraded them to this model so thought I might as well buy these instead, and for £9.99 reduced from £34.99 I thought I couldn't go wrong.
Well I was proved right, these things are absolutely amazing. At first I was a bit disappointed because the bass wasn't as tasty as I expected (i'm a real bass head) but then I changed the size of the plugs and they fit so snug in my ears now and the bass just rattles through my head beautifully :-). The sound is really crisp and I can hear little bits in tunes that i'd never heard before. The best thing is I can't hear a thing from the outside world, no more listening to the mindless witterings of the human race when i'm on the bus :-).
If you really care about decent sound but don't wanna break the bank, you really can't go far wrong with these things.
