Listen carefully!, 29 Aug 2008
Well let me say that I really liked these earphones. When my first pair arrived I liked them so much I immediately ordered a second as the price seemed so reasonable. They certainly did the job of cutting out the thumping dance beats at the gym and allowed me to listen to podcasts and my own choice of music in relative peace. When the first pair lost sound in the right earpiece after a few months use I assumed I might have snagged the cord and caused it myself; so I simply opened pair number two. But when exactly the same fault occurred, I read this comments list more fully and saw that others had suffered exactly the same fate. Well, I've just been on the phone to Amazon, was given the number of Creative Labs HQ in Ireland, got a reference number off them, called Amazon back and will shortly be returning the earphones and getting a refund. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. A bit of messing around and one international phone call to the worse but it's the principle rather than the price that made me determined to sort it out. Sadly it's twice bitten, thrice shy. I shall be hunting for different pair very shortly...
short lived excellence, 29 Aug 2008
As an awful lot of otherpeople have already stated about this product, they give excellent sound quality and are excellent for blocking out peripheral noise (excellent for London Buses!) BUT! they seem to have such a ridiculously short lifespan. I've had mine for little over a month and am already experiencing a similar problem to many other users whereby the sound in the right ear-piece cuts out frequently. You can fix this by wiggling around the jack but this is an exercise in frustration as it clearly loses sound again.
In short 5 stars for product when working, 1 star for longevity!
Fantastic quality, low price., 21 Aug 2008
I have never found a pair of headphones better than these for the price. They have good balance, they are good with all of those different technical frequancy stuff, which I've read about and agree with fully. They've got very good bass and are quite comfortable. I have to buy another pair though because I threw away the spare rubber ear bits and then lost the one on the earphone. But I don't mind because look at the price, BARGAIN!!!!
Many of my friends and family have bought the same ones as me because these are so good.
Wonderful, 18 Aug 2008
Using these as replacement for supplied earphones and no wonder I was getting ear irritation, these with the supplied rubbers for ear insertion make listening a very comfortable experience.
Eight Quid.....Bargain, 18 Aug 2008
Just received these little beauties through the post, ultra fast delivery by Amazon as usual.
I'll cut the bull, they are 8 quid, they knock spots off the pathetic earphones you will receive with your ipod.
My tip, ditch them immediately and buy yourself a pair of these. Bargain hunters will not be disappointed, all you designer branded, image conscious freaks might as well move on and read an anoraks review instead.
Really comfortable and actually stay in your ears.
Nothing more to add, you are looking at these earphones for a reason, they are brilliantly priced and they work...

Excellent!, 01 Sep 2008
Arrived this morning- such a difference from the normal ipod headphones. They are sooo much better. The sound quality is excellent, they are comfy and a reasonable price as well. Very good product.
Very good sound quality, 01 Sep 2008
A genuine pair (fitted properly) will give very good sound quality. No EQ adjustment should be necessary to get bass performance equivalent to that of large floor standing speakers or a decent subwoofer.
Reviews complaining of lack of bass are either reviewing a counterfeit pair or are simply not using them correctly (they are called ear canal headphones for a reason!).
Great, 29 Aug 2008
These earbuds give excellent sound quality and a good bass noise. But that's only when you've managed to get them to fit properly. The earbuds come with three sets of rubber ends for the consumer to decide which to use. If you (like I did) don't pick the right ones you'll get a tinny, awful noise. So try all three. When fitted these are the best i've listened to music with. Apart from some shure ones for like 229 quid.... but they weren't that much better.
Great piece of kit!, 29 Aug 2008
I bought these earphones yesterday to replace the ones for my iphone (all ipod related earphones are really bad quality and dont fit in my ears!) They arrived the next day, in some pretty funky packaging, and did the job perfect. The sound quality is great, and they really do block out background noise.
Another added bonus, which i believe should be stated in the blurb, is that they do fit into the old style iphone sockets (the 3.5mm i think, the socket is recessed anyway so the phone jack needs to be a bit longer). If it had said that in the listing i would not have bought an adapter, so if you are wondering if they fit... They DO!
Changed music listening for me...however 7 months later..!!!, 22 Aug 2008
I first bought a pair, loved them, lost them but didn't hesitate to buy a replacement in February of this year... They are fantastic....clear ....a perfect fit and I literally cannot hear anything outside my music when I'm using them..HOWEVER....today 22/08/2008/..7 months after purchasing them, the right ear is touching...AHHHH...I am very disappointed...I really didnt expect this to happen...Im thoroughly upset....I don't know if that should effect the ratings because it was a highly impressive product, but now...hmmm...

Good product, 20 Aug 2008
Recently bought this case for my Trekstor pocket g.u. Provides good protection for the hard drive when travelling, if just a little oversize for the pocket drive.
Great for Iomega Ego External Hard Drives, 30 Jun 2008
Bought this on Amazon to protect my Iomega Ego external hard drive, it fits perfectly - like a glove....great wee case (and drive).....5 stars as it does what it says on the tin! The other people who mark it down because its too big or too small should have looked at the dimensions before buying, is this not the sensible thing to do? I cannot fault this case.
I was slightly worried by the other reviews...., 19 Jun 2008
....but I have to say I am delighted with these cases, I bought two to protect an old 2.5 inch drive and my new western digital 250 gb pasport drive.
The pouch might be slightly bigger than required but there is a band to hold the drive in place and room for a USB cabel on the other side.
The case is well made, solid and certainly feels as if it will offer excellent protection to my nice new external hard drive.
I am delighted with it.
A bit too big for slim portable HDs, 25 May 2008
It looks nice etc., but this pouch is for "slim" hard drives (HDs) from the past. This is not something you can put in your pocket, as it is too big. There is a pocket inside for a USB cord, but it is also too big. One can put two or three cords in there. Since I myself have a slim HD from Western Digital (WD), I would call it - a pouch for two portable HDs from WD. Besides, HD is NOT held securely, as the pocket is too big for my WD, so HD can wobble in 2 dimensions if a force is applied. There is a stretchable band inside that is supposed to hold HD at the top, but it just only toching it rather preventing HD from falling out than holding it tight. I ended up putting more things in the pouch to use a space inside efficiently and hold the hard drive more tight. It is also tricky to connect HD while it is in the pouch, so you have to take it out. Not the most advanced and handy construction. I understand that one can not make something absolutely universal, for all portable HDs. But if you want something handy, small and secure just for your slim HD from Western Digital, this pouch is not perfect al all. It is just to carry HD + USB cord + accessories in the same place in your backpack.
"A must for WD Passport owners.", 20 May 2008
This case is the perfect partner for my 250GB WD passport drive and 1.8 metre USB 2.0 cable. It's tough enough to protect it from small drops, being sat on ect...
It's also great for housing a Nintendo DS Lite and several games.

PS3 at 720p is awesome, 02 Sep 2008
Before i was playing the ps3 on a 1080p tv but at standard definiion quality but thanks to this cable i now play at the full 1080p and it just looks incredible also watching blu-ray movies is fantastic especially on modern titles with plenty of action.
Does the job well, 13 Aug 2008
This cable works well connecting my PS3 to my Toshiba REGZA HD TV. Blu-ray movies come through crisp and clear with good image and sound quality.
My only complaints are that the cable is a little short (although this seems to be a common feature of all HDMI cables) and fairly rigid, meaning it cannot be twisted around stands etc. very easily.
These are however, only minor problems, and overall the cable does the job well.
Works with my Sony Bravia..., 12 Jul 2008
Just received the cable today, had read through all of the reviews and took note of the comments re Sony Bravia TVs and issues with the TV not recognising the cable.
Took a gamble and bought it as I have a 40" Sony Bravia X series TV, cable works well, instantly picking up the Panasonic SD5 Camcorder that I was using on the other end.
No issues at all and picture looked good to me!!, for £11 a bargain I think
Great value product, 14 Jun 2008
I have 2 of these cables, one for xbox 360 & one for a sony free view DVD recorder connected to Samsung 52" lcd tv.
The picture is perfect, i see no reason why you should spend any more money on a cable as it will not improve the picture quality.
I have had no issues with this product, the connections are sturdy and the cable has a quality look and feel.
The only thing that may be a problem is the length, this is not an issue for me as my dvd & xbox are on the tv stand shelf under the tv.
thick taut cable, 06 Jun 2008
HDMI cables are great and most of the reviews here refer to the better picture etc you get with HDMI. However there is no difference in picture quality with this cable than a cheaper HDMI cable (or I guess a more expensive one as it is a digital signal).
Some problems with this cable;
The thick plastic ends of this cable mean that it will not fit flush in the back of my Sony TV.
The thick taut cable at only 1.2 meters is easily dislodged from the back of the TV.
It comes packaged in the most difficult to open sealed plastic pack I have come across (pictured, like it's a good thing!).
I guess the heavier more bulky cables will have these same problems. Mine is going in the bin in favor of a lighter thinner HDMI cable.

Some problems with this cable;
Great value for money, 14 Aug 2008
This cable is great, it may not be the most expensive on the market and it may not have the designer name that some of the other cables have, but I have to be honest I really couldn't tell the difference! I know you see all the stats and the product description tells you how much better the 50 pound cable will be but to the naked I it will make such little difference its unbelievable. If you have a reasonable HDTV you shouldn't have any worry at all. If you don't which incidentally I dont (I have a 350 pound Hanspree 37") you probably wont notice the difference anyway. In my house we have my CHEAP TV with my CHEAP cable and my dad has a 2000 pound SONY with a very expensive cable. We played alongside each other a couple of times to see the difference in the quality. Now when you put them next to each other there was a difference, it wasn't huge but the was a difference. BUT....how often will you have your cheap cable next to an expensive one???You probably never will, so with this in mind I would say that this cable is just as good as any of the very expensive designer cables on the market. If you want an HD cable for your ps3 and you dont want to spend loads of money, this really is the cable for you. You will enjoy your gaming just as much, you will still think your game looks stunning and you will never look back! My review in short says BUY THIS CABLE, dont waste your time or your hard earned cash on the other over talked, over hyped cables!!
Save £17, 31 Jul 2008
Just a quick heads up for potential buyers saying that you dont need to spend £17.99 on a HDMI cable. I bought a cable which looks exactly the same as the one Amazon is advertising (from a third party seller here) for less than £2.
The picture quality will be the same and cannot improve because of the cable so save some money and find a bargain.
As for the cable, its a standard HDMI which supports up to 1080p
Works on all TVs with a HDMI port
seems like agood deal, get the cheapest possible cable, 16 May 2008
As demonstrated on the last gadget show, there is no point whatsoever in buying an expensive hdmi cable,so if you want HD for your HD telly and are gonna connect it to a PS3 or any other HDMI source, it really doesnt matter which you use as all it does is send O's and 1's digitally. so you either get the picture or not, they are allgoing to be the same quality whichever cable you buy. If this works when you get it and you have payed the minimal amount possible, then i reckon it's a good purchase for your PS3. Personally, when I bought my PS3 from currys last year, I asked them to throw me one in FOC, and they did cos I bought my telly from there too, which was good, the cable was priced at £10, so not bad for nowt. In summary though, they're all the same so pay as little as possible for one.
HDMI cable for ps3, 27 Mar 2008
Does exactly what it says on the tin just plug it in and there you go hd ps3 gaming, worked great on my 19" and it was crystal clear with 1080i
Great product, Recommended!
not wat it says on the tin!!, 14 Mar 2008
they it did 1080p resalotions and it dosent its the same as my other hdmi cable and that only cost me 98p!!! from amazon i am so dissapointed and im getting a refund >(

Excellent sound, 21 Aug 2008
I purchased these speakers for travelling, but they are really too big to put in my case. However, the sound is very good, it has these sensative volume controls, which are OK I suppose, Because it's really meant for an ipod (it has a docking station), it also has a cable running from the rear to connect to any MP3,but it is very short.
I am sure I will find some use for it around the house. It looks good, and appears to be well made.
Great Product!, 20 Aug 2008
I think this ipod dock is great. When I bought it I thought it would just be ok as it was so cheap!! When i got it, i plugged it in, popped my ipod in... and the sound quality was really good. Also really easy to use.
Very good value for money!, 19 Aug 2008
I was looking for some ipod speakers to give as a gift, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. These are ideal- arrived promptly and in pristine condition! I couldn't believe the sound quality when my sister plugged her ipod nano in- clear, and not at all distorted, can also go very loud, just as good with mp3! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they can't be battery operated- but at the price I paid for them I can't complain! Very satisfied:)
POOR VOLUME, 07 Jul 2008
I am very pleased overall with the speakers - they charge easily and are easy to use. unfortunately the volume buttons are hard to use as they are touch sensative so you have to continuoulsy tap them. also the volume at its loudest is very low! eveybody says its good but it didnt go very loud at all!
Good buy though, reccomended
Great little unit !, 01 Jul 2008
Bought these speakers as I was fed up with charging my iPod via my PC's USB, and also wanted to listen to music whilst in my craft room ! Didn't want anything too expensive, so after reading the reviews plumped for these! I must say it was very easy to set up, and I was playing my favourite tracks within minutes. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality, which was even better than I had anticipated for the price I paid. Nice compact size, and the black looks good with my pink iPod !
I am glad I purchased these speakers, and once again the delivery time and service was excellent from Amazon.

Some problems with this cable;
Does exactly what it says on the tin just plug it in and there you go hd ps3 gaming, worked great on my 19" and it was crystal clear with 1080i
Great product, Recommended!
not wat it says on the tin!!, 14 Mar 2008
they it did 1080p resalotions and it dosent its the same as my other hdmi cable and that only cost me 98p!!! from amazon i am so dissapointed and im getting a refund >(
Excellent sound, 21 Aug 2008
Fine at first, but wear out very quickly., 31 Aug 2008
I've had a set of these for around three months and have used them for maybe five hours a week. I was delighted with them at first. They produced very good sound, were comfortable and, crucially, stayed put - very important when you're dogwalking and need your hands free for handling a large dog, as is the case with me.
However, it's been necessary to deploy the supplied extra earpads already, as the first set have worn out, and a crack has appeared in the outer cable sleeve near the earpiece, exposing the inner cables. This is very poor performance, given that the earphones have not been subject to anything approaching poor treatment in their short life.
Suffice it to say that I will not be buying another set.
Excellent headset, 25 Aug 2008
The headset sits nicely, and there is a high degree of comfort. They did feel tight at first but not painfully. Sound quality for rock, pop, spoken and classical is very good!
What impresses me is that there is virtually no sound bleed. I handed the set to a friend to hear a track whilst sitting opposite me on the train and he turned up the Zen to full volume and I couldn't hear any noise from them.
I have a full sized pair of Sennheiser cans: Sennheiser eH150 Evolution Closed Headphone and there is sound bleed from these, but then they keep outside noise where it should be.
Highly recommended
Fantastic Headphones, 12 Aug 2008
I bought these headphones for running with two months ago after killing off my Apple ones and another cheapy pair (something to do with rain/sweat). They are extremely comfortable to do sport in - they are excellent for running/cycling/walking/supermarket shopping! The only problem I have is when I sit down with a head rest, but a re-adjustment sorts that out. An excellent product and well worth the money.
Not all sporty, 10 Aug 2008
These headphones provide great, crisp sound quality. However in terms of sports durability, this is where the PMX70 slips! after using these in the gym i would get small electric shocks in my ear as they were reacting to my sweat due to the metal on the earbud! NOT GOOD FOR SPORTS OR GYM!!!!
Fantastic, 02 Aug 2008
have bought numerous headphones for my cd and mp3 player but have not yet come across any that give good sound or stay put.
I like to do a lot of gym work and like to have my music full blast and earphones to stay.. well .. in my ears.
These two things have always been important to me to ensure that I enjoy my workouts. Now I have found a product that allows me to do just that. I love these earphones. The colour, the sound and the design. They don't move about and handle my MP3 player full blast whilst giving a good sound.
I have and would recommend these to anyone as did the person who put me in touch with them to begin with.
One thing I would say though is to shop around for a good price. Whilst doing my search I found these exceeding £30 and I paid less than £15 in the end.
Enjoy music at it's best :)

Customer Reviews
They DO!
