do not buy this for a R4 card, 25 Oct 2008
This card does not work in R4 cards trust me the one i bought didn't
Works with the HTC-S710, 04 Aug 2008
I've uploaded a couple of photos of what I received from Amazon on 2-Aug-2008; the microSDHC card and SD adapter.
The card works with my HTC-S710 Windows Mobile Smartphone.
It amazes me that such a tiny card can hold so much data and cost so little. It's so small that it isn't something I want to take out and put back into my phone on a regular basis because it is so fiddly to handle; I'll leave the data transferring to Bluetooth.
Not compatible with Garmin Edge 705, 22 Jul 2008
I bought this on an Amazon recommendation and when I received it (very promptly) discovered it was totally not compatible with Garmin Edge 705. Luckily, it does work with my mp3 player.
Was ok, but didn't last long, 18 Jul 2008
Does what it said on the tin. Useful little USB adaptor. Problem is I can't read / delete from it any more, as if it's locked in some way. Can still read files from it though.

Scandisk micro SD card 8Gb, 17 Nov 2008
......... You can't buy better than Scandisk, there are cheaper ones, but, are they reliable? Why not pay that little bit more and get peace of mind!
Affordable quality product, 12 Nov 2008
Turned my Nokia 6500 slide from an average phone to an excellent phone simply a must buy at £14 . Can also be transferred to any camera for quick easy use as comes with suitable adapter.
excellent item, 28 Oct 2008
bought for m3 ds real, works brilliantly. works in any sdhc compliant device. before comparing price bear in mind sdhc cards come in different speeds, this is a class 4 - well worth the money. Worked well on 3 pc's with windows XP (used with the adapter - bit fiddly getting the micro card out of the adapter if you have fat fingers like me!)for those of you reporting problems with XP make sure you have applied the latest service pack.
Great bit of kit, 08 Sep 2008
Bought this from indigostarfish. Genuine item and works perfect in my PSP with a MicroSD to Pro Duo adapter. Give me just under 8 gig, with no lag on my games or applications.
Will be buying another for my Sansa.
Very impressed for such a low price.

8GB Micro SD HC, 04 Oct 2008
I bought this product from Amazon. When i downloaded my music on the card, it was full at 1GB when it should have been 8GB!
Big memory, little price, 24 Sep 2008
memory cards have come down in price so much in the last year, but even so, I was surprised to find Amazon selling this 8GB SDHC card for under £20 when so many other retailers had it for much more.
Anyway, brushing my scepticism aside, I purchased said card and tried it out in both my Nintendo DS (with a DS Real card) and my HTC Smartphone (the BT one that comes with BT Anywhere). I'm happy to say that it worked perfectly in both without even having to reformat.
The card I got came with a SD Adaptor only, which is fine as I have a couple of SDHC USB adaptors lying around, but I'd recommend getting one if you don't already have one, as many card readers can be funny with the new SDHC format.
So far I've tried this card and confirm it works in:
Nintendo DS with M3 DS Real and Edge cards
HTC Smartphone (BT Anywhere)
Motorola V3i Phone.
I've just ordered a Sansa Fuze MP3 player and hear that these will work in those as well.
Great value, 23 Aug 2008
Great value and I had no problem with the adaptor, works as it's meant to.
Excellent card but rubbish adapter, 02 May 2008
I just got my hands in this 8GB micro sdhc card.
I am using this micro sd card using a SD adapter (normal adapter not an sdhc which came with a 2gb micro sd card that I have) with my Kodak Digital Camera V1233 and it works fine.
The card is excellent very fast and a lot of space
There are a few things to bare in mind when you buy a sdhc card.
1. It will not work in a normal memory card reader. Because the majority of the card readers are not sdhc compatible. At least my one is not.
2. The adapter that come with the card is just rubbish you have to push the micro sdhc into it so much that then is extremely hard to get it out. I could not believe how much the card has to go in, at the beginning I thought that the card was not compatible with XP or VISTA because I was not pushing the card enough and it was not recognising it.
I can not explain how come a very good company like SANDISK can do such a rubbish adapter. It would have been far better if they had a adapter that clicks in or out just by pushing the card a bit. So unless that you have long nails you will probably struggle to get the card out of the adapter.
Believe me I tried it at the office with a few colleague and we all had problems to get it out. Specailly when the last thing that you want to do if to force it or to break it.
Unfortunately because it does not work with my memory card reader I have to use the adapter or plug the camera into the PC with the card inside which is annoying and I don't think is as fast and uses the battery of my camera.
Overall the card is great but I am given it 4 stars because of the adapter.

Not even made by Apple, 11 Nov 2008
The description for this product is a bold faced lie.
These are NOT Apple earbuds. I ordered this item and was shipped a knock-off pair of white generic headphones despite the NUMEROUS statements in their decription as "Apple iPod headphones made by Apple".
People need to stop reviewing Apple iPod earbuds on this page as this leads to more customers believing that they are actually made by Apple.
Not the earphones in the picture, 24 Oct 2008
I remember ordering these back in February this year, specifically looking for the new ipod earphones (as seen in the picture. Unfortunately the ones i did recieve were the old generation with the rounded tip! I feel cheated.
Great quality sound but not good enough, 05 Aug 2008
I think these earphones are brilliant in sound quality but the plastic tears easily. ive had mine since X-mas and the plastic is coming away from the actual earphone and at the pin. I think this is a design fault however as the plastic coating is too far away from the wire making it easy for the plastic to tear.
Also these should be avalible in different colours, perhaps the same colour as the iPod they come with as so many people have these it surpresses no individuality what-so-ever.
Fake ipod headphones, 31 May 2008
First of all these are not the official apple ipod headphones! They are actually worse than the real ipod headphones that come initially with the ipod! They are much more uncomfortable than official ipod headphones and have terrible base. They are not worth the money at all.
Painful, 27 May 2008
These earphones are terrible. I've had them for a year and have had enough - they hurt my ears after wearing them for more than half an hour, they fall out constantly and I can't even hear my music fully. Why sell an ipod with ear phones that are so bad you can't appreciate what you're listening to? So you have to go out and buy some really expensive ones from apple of course! Well I won't be replacing these ear phones with ones from apple, what a disappointment.

IGNORE THE STARS I GAVE. DO NOT ORDER THESE FROM AMAZON, 03 Nov 2008
Note, if you decide to stick with amazon and buy these discs from them, they will be the 2.4x discs but you will find that they are manufactured in India, NOT Singapore. Also, the discs sold by from BC UK are 8x discs, not 2.4x as advertised. I just can't seem to get it right with these orders lol.
EDIT: I have now burnt 4 of these disks, the first 3 gave a disk read error. The last, actually stopped writing. I actually tested the image on another disc, and it worked on that.
DO NOT ORDER FROM AMAZON. THEY SUPPLY WITH DISCS MADE IN INDIA AND THOSE ONES ARE RUBBISH.
Beware...., 24 May 2008
These are not actually the 2.4x DVDs. If you order BC UK will send you 8x DVDs. Which is fine if they work in your DVD drive and a pain in the neck if they don't. Now I'm trying to wrangle a replacement from the company.
Far better than competing brands, 12 May 2008
Previously bought Philips D/L discs. None burned successfully. Switched to these Verbatim discs. No failures yet. Anyone needing D/L discs should look no further.
Best discs ever!, 09 Mar 2008
These are awesome DL discs. I used to buy cheaper discs and had a lot of coasters and much headache. When I finally decided to pay up and buy these discs, I forgot about coasters all together. These discs are great and work perfectly well with various DVD burnes. I do not even consider buying any other DL discs any more. I just fell in love with these discs and buy them all the time. do not buy this for a R4 card, 25 Oct 2008

They are worth every penny. Buy them with confidence. You won't regret it.

Works well., 17 Aug 2008
Just recieved it today and have already used it successfully. It is definitely faster to download files onto it than the USB cable that comes with phones. Works well with my Nokia6120 classic. Aso got a 2 GB and works fine as well.
Bargain Micro SD,Great service., 07 Jun 2008
Ordered 3 micro SD Cards from YOU WANT ONE total cost £12.00.Only took 2 days to arrive, well packaged and came in original sandisk solid sealed plastic packaging. What a great deal from a top company, look no further.Highly recommended.
No packaging, 17 Mar 2008
Item didnt come in factory packaging. Not good when its a gift for someone. Plus im not sure if its been used or if its reburished.
The card on the other hand works fine.
Not much to say..., 22 Feb 2008
but I'll say it anyway!
From the Amazon site this has got to be one of THE best buys I've ever made. I couldn't believe just how inexpensive this card was - Amazon, you're stunning.
The card was purchased for my sons new mobile and it really is as simple as take the stock phone memory card out, pop this baby in, switch the phone on and hey presto! everything works great.
Word of warning - if you do the same consider the type of music your children play and like to play out loud on their phone! lol I now know more Slipnot, Bullet for my Valentine etc., than I ever wanted too.
Good Value!!, 13 Feb 2008
These 1mb cards are £14 each in Most high street shops and on line stores.
If the seller on here is charging £5 p&p per item, yes that is quite steep. But to be honest, 2 cards will only cost from this seller, for 2x 1mb cards, a total of £10.2p. That's a very good deal to me very cheap and great value for money!
Stop going on about the cost of postage, and thank yourself lucky that you're not paying £28 for 2 x 1mb cards like I did 1 month ago from a high street shop.
If you're not happy with the postage costs, then don't buy and move on. Go to a shop and spend the earth on the high street!

I thought I'd wrecked our new TV screen ....., 19 Nov 2008
We have a fairly new 37" LCD TV and I cleaned it with the cloth provided (it said use damp). It left white streaks across the television screen. I was horrified. When I re-read the instructions, the cloth was actually for cleaning the surround but no advice was given for the screen! Gently rubbing the streaks with a soft, dry cloth did nothing. Then I found this product and read the reviews.
The cleaning gel arrived today and - hurrah! The screen is now clean, clear and streak-free. I have also just cleaned my LCD computer monitor screen with the same success.
I therefore totally recommend this product.
Excellent Product !! Excellent Value for Money !!, 14 Nov 2008
Previously I had been using paper screen wipes to clean my laptop screen but when I bought a new 26" TV I thought this investment deserved something better.
Also I had noticed that the screen wipes are tending to be a little dry when I pull them out its container.
The product was despatched and arrived very quickly.
I've been using it for the last few weeks and I am delighted with its cleaning power and ease of use.
It is excellent value for money especially as only a very small amount of gell is required and the cloth is machine washable.
Despite the very poor review I have just read, I have no hesitation in giving this product "5 Stars" and recommending it to others for all LCD screens such as in laptops and TVs.
ALL THESE PPL WITH PERFECT FIVE STAR REVIEWS DON'T HAVE A CLUE OBVIOUSLY, 30 Oct 2008
GOT MY CLEANER THOUGHT SINCE EVERY SINGLE PERSON HAD GIVEN IT AND FIVE STAR REVIEW THAT IT WOULD BE GREAT BUT NOOOOOOOOOO, SOME PPL ON HERE SAID THEY CLEANED THERE PC MONITOR'S WITH IT AND THEY CAME OUT NEW AND LEFT NO STREAKS, WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH THAT IS, I SPRAYED IT NO MORE THAN THREE PRESSES ONTO MY 19" SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER 920LM MONITOR AND STARTED TO CLEAN WITH THE MICROFIBRE CLOTH THAT COMES WITH IT, AFTER IT HAD WAS 10 TIMES WORSE THAN BEFORE STREAKS EVERYWHERE. WHAT A CRAP PRODUCT
This Works!, 25 Oct 2008
I noticed my 1 year old daughter's finger marks on the bottom half of my Sony LCD set. I intially tried to remove them with a dry lint-free cloth which left streaks...and then a slightly damp cloth which left streaks...and then other products including Cillit bang degreaser (which was actually the best of the lot suprisingly) which left streaks! I tried this Philips gel and it works fantastically! My TV is now smear free and finger mark free (until the next time). My TV now looks great. Definitely recommended... and it's only £5.12!!!
Great for Panasonic Plasma, 22 Oct 2008
Wanted a cleaning solution and cloth that wouldn't scratch my new-ish plasma which is regularly covered in toddler hand prints.
Simply put, this is great - can highly recommend it for a Panasonic 37PX80 at least!

They are worth every penny. Buy them with confidence. You won't regret it.
The Only DVD+R DL Worth Buying, 19 Dec 2006
Most people that buy these will know that Verbatim are the only decent manufacturer of DL discs at the mo. Anyone with a modded 360 will need these babies. They work a dream!!!
Parrot CK3100, 30 Sep 2008
After trawling through the internet and finding which bluetooth unit to buy, the only option was a parrot based one. However, the choice between a 3000 & 3100 LCD versin was the fact that I could see if the mother-in-law was calling !!!!
I purchased the CK3100 and a loom for my stereo and they arrived within 24hrs. Being quite a technical person installation was very straight forward. If you are handy with a screwdriver and take care on removing facias etc then this is a straight forward job. I located all the cables and control units by removing my glove box and putting them out of sight. The downside is the manual is very vague when it comes to connecting to your headset it does not tell you if you need an additional connecting lead from your stereo to your headset. Also, on some cars you need to swap over the two fuse carriers. This can be found online, but not in the manual. This sort of information you have to find out for yourself. If installation is an issue there are several automotive companies that will install the unit for less than £200. BMW charge £325 !!!!!!!!
After installation which I did in a very slow methodical manner (which took me an hour) I put the unit to test. Operation of the unit along with pairing is described sufficiently in the manual. I set my phone, the wife's phone and the daughter's phone to pair with the unit. As the unit will only utilise the one it picks up first, it is very simple to connect to another of the paired phones if required.
The voice commands are recorded easily and you do not have to use the words they instruct you to i.e. 'Phone', you could use 'Call' for example or 'Hang Up' where you can use 'End'.
The only downside is the because when the voice commands are recorded, the radio is muted. When you are driving hoever you have your stereo on. With this, if it is too high, the unit will not pick up your voice to make a hands free call. The only way around this is to either turn the stereo volume down or off. Not a big problem, but then again not hands free.
I have also managed to upgrade the software on the unit using a laptop and bluetooth connection. This was very simple and well described on the Parrot website where you can download the software application, latest software and instructions on how to upgrade software for free.
The clarity of sound making and receiving calls is excellent and no-one has yet informed me that they have had issues when making or taking calls using the Parrot unit.
The wife and daughter are not technically minded (no disrespect) and nor are they at the front or middle of the queue when it comes to gadgetry of an electronic nature, but they found it very simple to use.
All in all £89 for a Parrot unit and a connecting loom for my headset = Bargain. Far cheaper than an OEM.
It does have a serious limitation, 13 Aug 2008
I had mine professionally installed so encountered no issues there.
I find I have to manually activate the voice-recognition prompt by pushing the green button, but then have no problem in the unit recognising the name I want to phone. Not as it should be, but not a major issue.
The main and very serious criticism is the sound quality at the "other" end. The person I'm speaking to, invariably has real difficulties in hearing me because of background noise - the faster the vehicle speed, the worse the reception for the other party.
In the car, I can hear very well so am not distracted by having to strain to hear what is being said, but many times I've been asked to call back when I've finished my journey because I can't be heard. That is not acceptable.
My daughter has the same CK3100 and experiences the same problem - above 50mph hearing by the other party becomes difficult and does reach the level of impossible. I drive a Focus any daughter a Yaris so bigger vehicles with less background-noise may not suffer as badly.
I assume this problem is recognised by the manufacturer as some other Parrot units have 2 microphones but I don't know if these units are better.
This is a real and not exaggerated problem - if you want to buy a Parrot, check out the units with 2 microphones and test it at the other end, with the vehicle travelling at 55mph+ not inside the car where reception is excellent.
Parrot 3100, 01 Aug 2008
Great product. It took my 17 yr old son no more than 30 mins to fit it including running wires behind the dash. Being 17 he did not even look at the fitting instructions. Very simple to fit.
Definately worth the money..., 12 May 2008
Firstly, let me say that the instructions are rubbish! However, once you've pulled out your stereo unit it is very obvious how to connect the unit and anyone with half a brain can work out how to fit it. It takes about 10 mins for basic installation. If you want a tidy installation it took me about half an hour to wire it in neatly.
I got this option because I thought that the colour screen version was gimmicky but I still wanted to be able to se who was calling.
The sound quality is excellent and the microphone is very good (you dont find yourself shouting ever). The volume on my unit does seem to be very high but I think thats the stereos fault... The stereo mute function is brilliant.
Overall the unit is great. The Bluetooth connection is flawless; it is so much easier and safer than trying to stand up in the car to pull the phone from your pocket like before. Would definately recommend this unit.
O my god !!!, 09 May 2008
It arrived and i opened the packet and thought "o my god" all these wires, but please do not let this put you off. After getting over the shock and reading the instructions, i took my radio out and connected the kit as per instructions. The hardest bit turned | | |
