Product Description
SanDisk is proud to announce our newest format to the SD memory card family: Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) available in 4GB and 8GB capacities. Memory card is rated Class 2 for speed and performance based on SD 2.0 specifications. The SDHC memory card is a highly secure stamp-sized flash memory card, which can be used in a variety of digital products: digital music players, cellular phones, handheld PCs (HPCs), digital cameras, digital video camcorders, smart phones, car navigation systems and electronic books, that follows the SD 2.00 specifications. The SDHC card has a security feature for protection of copyrighted data. What is SDHC? To support the higher capacity needs, SD cards are now requiring a different design. The new SD 2.0 specifications - which supports 4GB and up - is called Secure Digital High Capacity(SDHC). The SD Association has created and defined 3 speed classes to help you identify speed and performance capabilities/minimum requirements of SDHC cards and their SDHC host products. Bargain price for top branded card, 24 Oct 2008
Just how cheap can this memory get ?
I am using this card in my Kodak Z1015 HD video capable digicam, the card is fast enough to cope with HD video to be continuously streamed to the card, I recently shot a continuous 29 min video with no problems whatever (8GB would have given me much longer)...it seems just great
This card is classified as a "class 2", which means that it must have a minimum write speed of 2 megabites per second, this seems fast enough for my purposes, other cards are classified at class 4 (4 mb/s min) or class 6 (6 mb/s min), so its not the fastest, but it seems fine for video
Just a note though....make sure that the device that you plan to use this card with is SD HC compatible as some older devices wont recognise this card
I am sure that memory will get even cheaper, but this seems like a great price to me, high street retailers often charge three or four times this price...Sandisk is a well known brand name too...great value
value for money (but check price of the 16GB and the Extreme versions), 17 Oct 2008
What is there to say, it's a memory card, it stores things. It doesn't do much anything else. It does what it does well enough, it keeps the data; and it is reasonably fast.
It works great with my camera (EOS 450D), and you do need minimun of 8gb with a DSRL. Though you might now want to start looking at the 16GB to see if they provide better GB/£ ratio.
If speed is critical for you (as it sometimes is), then you might want to consider the Extreme versions from SanDisk (have one of those also). Yes they are more expensive, but you will want one of those if you for example do continuos shooting with a DSLR, then it's about the speed.
Cheap, big space, works., 14 Sep 2008
I use this product with my Asus EEE PC 701 4Gb for games storage. It writes a bit slow, but reading is quick. Very good value for money, cheaper and smaller than the equivalent USB stick. And it doesn't stick out either which is always a bonus.

Initially I had problems with this Pen. On inserting, my Vista PC would crash (Blue Screen). I had other pen dives, which did not have this problem, although one other USB drive caused this error.
I decided to rebuild the PC and the problem went away. I guess the Pen was not at fault, but may be its more sensative than my CORSAIR 2 Gb pen.
The Pen also comes with software which allows you to keep your data and applications (like outlook) on the pen drive so that you can use different PCs. Did not get to test this functionality.
Annoying, flashing light, 12 Nov 2008
This is an affordable USB key which I bought primarily to take advantage of the Vista Readyboost function (which it is capable of, despite what another reviewer might have suggested). It is a little flimsy, but given the price that's to be expected. However, there is a downside. I use the key on a laptop which has all its USB ports built into the side. When being used with Vista Readyboost the (big) orange light flashes constantly and can become an annoying distraction. But as already mentioned maybe that's to be expected at such an affordable price.
In summary, this is a good USB key but if it's going to be used with a laptop without any rear USB ports you may want to look elsewhere.
Great but....., 08 Nov 2008
This is an excellent little Flash Drive. The only downside is the useless metal ring for putting on a keyring. It is too flimsy. Sandisk aren't the only people producing brilliant drive with no safe way of attaching the drive. These thinga are meant to keep your data safe, so why dont they design a nice solid part with a hole in to keep it safe??? I have the same problem with my Sandisk titanium drive.
Stopped working after 30 days..., 01 Nov 2008
...just outside Amazon's 30-day return window. So I am now having to deal with Sandisk (in the USA) to organise a return and warranty replacement. I have had several USB drives and I have never had one fail, until this Sandisk, my first 8 Gb model. The drive is no longer recognised by any PC.

Awful, 25 Oct 2008
The HDMI cable is way too short!! its 1m long which wont get you anywhere!!
The quality is awful aswell doesnt show up as well as other good HDMI cables do. I returned this and bough myself a monster cable now there are some good HDMI cables!
HDMi cable, 24 Oct 2008
If you need a Hdmi cable, BUY THIS ONE. Don't fall prey to these shop assistants in the high street who want to sell £30 or £80 cables to you. As the other review read "it's digital" that's all there is to it. If you can watch HD through a NAS box attached Cat5 cable to a router and watch that material WIRELESSLY,then what is some "funky" blue/purple exaggerated cable with golden earings and a silk dress going to do for your picture on your new Sony or whatever brand telly LCD you have. The answer..... NOTHING. Get this cable.
Great Picture and Sound Quality!!!!!!, 19 Oct 2008
This is Incredible!!!!
Best Item I've bought on Amazon, at a great price!!
Works very well with my PS3.
I was looking around for a HDMI cable and then found this one.
After reading reviews saying that HDMI cables do not really change in quality with price, I thought that I would test this one for the minor price of around £2.70 including the postage and packaging. I was not disapointed and was amazed by the incredible sound and picture quality!
A Must Buy Item.... Get it NOW!
Value and quality!, 01 Oct 2008
Its hard to review a small lenght of cable, its looks are what you expect, it has two ends and it plugs easily into the back of your telly and the back of your playstation job done.
But theres a little more to it, this cable is good value for money, ive seen some comparitive products charge excessivly for the same product. It aids your gaming experience, your playstation will allow a higher setting and although it doesnt change the digital streaming it will boost the quality!
Great value for money, 14 Aug 2008
This cable is great, it may not be the most expensive on the market and it may not have the designer name that some of the other cables have, but I have to be honest I really couldn't tell the difference! I know you see all the stats and the product description tells you how much better the 50 pound cable will be but to the naked I it will make such little difference its unbelievable. If you have a reasonable HDTV you shouldn't have any worry at all. If you don't which incidentally I dont (I have a 350 pound Hanspree 37") you probably wont notice the difference anyway. In my house we have my CHEAP TV with my CHEAP cable and my dad has a 2000 pound SONY with a very expensive cable. We played alongside each other a couple of times to see the difference in the quality. Now when you put them next to each other there was a difference, it wasn't huge but the was a difference. BUT....how often will you have your cheap cable next to an expensive one???You probably never will, so with this in mind I would say that this cable is just as good as any of the very expensive designer cables on the market. If you want an HD cable for your ps3 and you dont want to spend loads of money, this really is the cable for you. You will enjoy your gaming just as much, you will still think your game looks stunning and you will never look back! My review in short says BUY THIS CABLE, dont waste your time or your hard earned cash on the other over talked, over hyped cables!!

Great for a large music collection, 12 Nov 2008
I have resisted the i-Pod todate because I do not like i-Tunes. So I have already mp3 players by others (a 40gb Creative Zen Touch - which only really works on mains after 3.5 years, a 32gb Zen for the car, an Archos 605 for video and internet). However, my music collection is too large for the Zens to cope with (The SD card expansion on the Creative Zen is not the answer because that does not integrate with the flash-drive's music library) and the Archos is simply not good enough at sound reproduction for music, in my opinion. So, against this background here is what I think:
1. You do not have to use i-Tunes. My media organiser of choice (after trying so many) is Media Jukebox and it had absolutely no problem recognising my new i-Pod and copying across my music library and cover art. (I should qualify this by saying that most of my music is ripped and what I do buy is in mp3 format from 7digital, so I have never used the one stop shop does it all "benefits" of i-Tunes).
2. The click-wheel navigation of the i-Pod is good for basic navigation but the Creative Zen system, I think, is actually a better method overall.
3. The screen display of the i-Pod is great and, to me, better than that on the Creative Zen. However, on neither will I be watching video, so we are only talking about cover art and navigation display here.
4. The headphones are rubbish (as were the ones with each of my previous players).
5. As others have noted, volume is limited but it goes loud enough for me with a pair of decent headphones.
6. It is very well built compared to all my other players.
7. Sound quality is very good, if not stunning. On direct comparison, I think my 32gb Creative Zen is better (a tighter bass and more openess), but both are really enjoyable to listen to.
8. I have bought a crystal case and wallet to help protect it from knocks, but be warned that cases for the 80gb and 160gb previous generation do not necessarily fit the new 120gb perfectly.
9. If you have a large music collection, and want a quality mp3 player, then this now represents excellent value for money. If the i-Pod is as well built and reliable as my Apple Macbook then it ought to keep me happy for some years.
A fundamentally sharper sound, 10 Nov 2008
I bought a 40Gb iPod Classic 4 years ago. It recently died and was almost as cheap to replace compared to getting it fixed so I bought the 120Gb iPod Classic. Here's my thoughts on the new model based on having upgraded from the 40Gb model. I didn't really need 120Gb capacity but the next option down was 16Gb and that wouldn't fit the contents of my old model.
The overwhelming impression is of a significant improvement on the 40Gb classic. It's slimmer, lighter, has a much nicer, colour interface and 3 times the capacity at two-thirds the price. I'm tempted to rip my new CDs at a higher resolution now.
The most notable improvement is in the overall sound quality. I would compare it to going from FM radio to DAB radio. It's a fundamentally sharper sound. It has completely enhanced my listening experience, both through my headphones and my iPod speakers. It also handles variable volume much better so you don't keep having to adjust the volume depending on the age of the original CD that was ripped.
The colour, as mentioned in other reviews, is not black but I find the dark, charcoal grey very fetching and actually more tasteful than plain black. It now handles photos and videos and has colour games but none of these features are of particular interest to me. I simply want a jukebox of all my albums to carry everywhere. The battery life is apparently 4 times better than the 40Gb model.
You will have to upgrade to iTunes v8 to synch your music if, like me, you have never been bothered to upgrade iTunes in the past!!
I do have some very minor quibbles but these are insignificant when compared with the improvement in sound quality:
- the click wheel requires slightly more pressure and the middle button is concave rather than convex. Both make the iPod slightly trickier to control when you're groping for it in your pocket!
- despite the improvement in sound quality, there's still no graphic equalizer that allows you to control treble, bass, etc.. separately.
- you actually get 111Gb of capacity. This using up of the advertised capacity to accommodate the operating system is consistent with all other models.
- it comes with the usual white headphones. Shouldn't they be black to match the colour of the model? Either way they are still poor and to get maximum benefit I'd recommend, as a minimum, a pair of in-ear Sennheiser headphones.
- it comes with a docking adaptor, presumably to cater for the change in thickness. It is slimmer than the 40Gb model. However, the adaptor doesn't fit the stand that came with the 40Gb model so I'm not quite sure what it's for? It does like wider than the 40Gb model. The screen is wider, but the actual iPod itself is in fact the same width.
- the back is still the same 'scratch friendly' material. Can Apple not find a material that is shiny, reflective but doesn't scratch when you look at it!?
As I say, these are very minor quibbles. If you have an extensive music collection and looking for a new iPod with seemingly limitless capacity and significantly improved sound quality, this is a good home for it.
From an apple hater, I've been wrong all these years. Still hate apple but love the IPOD, 01 Nov 2008
Firstly I used to be an apple hater, have always used Archos and creative labs and been very happy with both. Still thought as I've never meet a person who regrets buying an Ipod that there might be something in these players..So I put my money where my doubts were.
Firstly, my biggest hate for the IPOD is Itunes, I rip my music and already had thousand of tracks and really don't want to have to give a credit card to Itunes so that I can start transferring my music but you have to.. Now other than that the actual player is excellent. Once I got my head around the fact that as a non Itune guy that you can not just drag and drop your track onto you Ipod.
The player is light and sturdy and the head phones even more lightweight- firstly ditch the enclosed headphones and invest in a decent set of phones.
The player is excellent in the controls and style. Although I don't think you want this for Video invest in an archos for your films.
The sound of my MP3s is impressive and full, with GOOD VOLUME.
Some reviewers have said that the volume is an issue.. No the Ipod is loud you can set the maximum volume in the setting but this isn't the actual playing volume just the upper limit!! - whenever the Ipod is turned on it will start to broadcast at half volume by default, this is fine as a quick spin on your finger on the control wheel will put the volume to a level that is load enough to share the tunes with the person trying to sit next to you in silence. It will then stay there as you continue to play with the player.
As for the colour comments, gun metal black is the new true black and that is what this one is very macho. The mat black also is very smudge resistant.
PROS.
-Lots of accessories
-Excellent controls,
-Itunes (if you want to buy or download podcasts)
-Screen and sound quality is excellent
-Nice gunmetal black
-Very good battery life
-Good volume once you realise you need to give a quick flick
-I like the way Ipod pauses if you unplug your headphone so you don't miss a drop.
CONS
-Itunes (no option to avoid if you want to just use windows explorer)
-No drag and drop on any PC only on Itunes at home
-Screen not really good enough for watching movies (maybe TV shows or Videocasts)
Conclussion, I love the Ipod classic but am lukewarm over Itunes. However, I'm buying into Ipod not Itunes (try media monkey software for an alternative).
Why only 4 stars?, 29 Oct 2008
I have a touch and to be honest it's not that great. Sure it's slick an d looks awesome, but the classic actually allows you to plow your library full pf music rather than limiting you to about 1,000 songs just so you can have a few videos. Sleak and sexy. Loads of memory. The best ipod.
Better than previous, 21 Oct 2008
This was bought as a replacement for the old video nano, as i found i needed more space so this ipod seemed perfect for that and it is. I can now fit all my music, videos and photos without constantly having to delete stuff off of it to fit it all in like i had to do with my old nano. The genius tool is good but i takes a while to get used to it, but the ipod itself is well made i think sounds louder than my old nano. The only downsides i have found and the reason that ive not given it a 5 star rating is that i managed to scratch the screen easily buy just putting it in my pocket with some change, though i could have avoided this with a case which i do highly recomend. Also you have to up-date itunes which seems like a sneaky way of apple getting us all to download it. But these tbh are personal preference so dont be put off it is a very good peice of kit.

great product, 17 Nov 2008
I received this card in good condition and 3 days early that estimated delivery....eventhough made in china but nothing problem with it....
Worth the Cash!, 31 Oct 2008
for the money its well worth it! I use it for my pc and it works fine.
no probs what so ever 10/10
Still Waiting, 15 Nov 2008
I am still waiting for the product to arrive, i couldnt send a message to the user so i sent this review instead, i ordered it a week ago, and it is the third day after the estimated arrival date. Any chance of me knowing when i expect this to arrive?
Small and retractable , 14 Nov 2008

A Classic (from a woman's perspective), 19 Nov 2008
I enjoy this TV - it's gorgeous, slinky black and doesn't look like the 2001 Space Odyssey monolith has made a new home in my living room.
It's easy to put together (stand-to-TV) and I had no problems at all with tuning. My only additional cost was a 30 pound HDMI cable to use with the DVD player.
I have had this Sony for just over a month now and I LOVE IT!
TV + cable and all together under 400 pound - this was a great buy.
Realy Gooood!!!, 19 Nov 2008
Having previously owned an LG 19 inch tv for two years, I was excited about the prospect of having my very own large flat-screen. I ordered on Friday night and it was duly delivered yesterday evening. Setup took less than 10 minutes and after a bit of tweaking using setting from AV forums, all i can say is that the picture quality is amazing even on standard defination and hgh defination is just beyond words, far better than on my previous tv even though you cannot really compare. there is loads of inputs to connect your devices, games, etc and the TV looks nice aswell which is definately a plus. my only slight qualm with this is that dark scenes sometimes are a bit too dark but that can be probably solved with a bit of more tweaking. In all a very good bargain for less than 330 pounds, Money well spent in my opinion, can't wait to watch some blue-ray movies. Oh and also in addition to this, i have just setup my ps3 to stream content straight from my pc so i can watch on my tv and prison break, movies, and anime look absolutely fabulous, it may seem like i'm exxagerating but it is quite good.

Great tv but completely incompatible with the supplied wall bracket. We have complained many times but still Amazon are advertising this bracket with the tv.
"WHY !!!!!!!!" DO NOT BUY THE TECLINK TWM2 BRACKET FOR THIS TV.
Great Value TV, 13 Nov 2008
Ordered this TV yesterday on behalf of a family friend and it arrived at 8.30am this morning! I had the set up and running within 20 minutes. It tunes itself and connecting the ordinary Sky Box via scart cable was simple. Picture quality is very good and as my friend doesn't want Sky+ HD this was the perfect choice for her needs. I have only given this 4 stars as I have been spoilt with my W Series version of this TV along with Sky+HD which is worth getting if you like watching a lot of movies, wildlife documentaries & sport. If not, then this TV is a very good choice for normal digital TV viewing. Excellent service again from Amazon. (5 Stars!)
Good but not Great, 13 Nov 2008
I've bought this tv recently from amazon for £365. It's good but not better than my 32" Digimate bought from elsewhere, which costs me £235, so I think that Sony is a bit over-rated. Don't buy this Sony model if you watch a lot of sport because you get fuzzy pictures with fast moving objects (my cheaper Digimate is better in this respect). P.S. Don't buy this set because of the extra 3-years warranty if you can get it cheaper without the warranty. The warranty from Sony is rubbish and a Con. Read the condition, your warranty only lasts to your first claim, which could be after one months of ownership. A good trick worked out by the Sony lawyers to get extra money for their sets, in this now very competitive 32" market place. My Digimate came with a standard 5-years collect and return warrranty without any restrictions.
Pros: A good TV but not better than cheaper budget makes.
Cons: Not for sport fans (fuzzy on fast moving objects). Somewhat irritating that important functions such as brightness and colour are not directly accessible on the remote control. Disappointing sound. The extra 3-years warranty is a con and Sony should be ashamed of themselves.

great product, 17 Nov 2008

Worth the Cash!, 31 Oct 2008
for the money its well worth it! I use it for my pc and it works fine.
no probs what so ever 10/10

Need to use your brains when you buy this, 07 Nov 2008
LOL. This gets 5 stars from those that buy it knowing it is compatible (or lucky) with HC and 1 star from those that cannot read or be bothered to check!
San Disk 4GB, 04 Nov 2008
This item is a total rip off even at such a bargain price. Take my advice do not waste your time on this rubbish. This is the worst thing Amazon has ever sold in my opinion.
Fantastic, 25 Oct 2008
Simply the most reliable and cost effective storage products I have bought. Nothing else to say!

NOT suitable for X-BOX!!!!, 14 Nov 2008
This cable is probably fine, but despite comments on this page to the contrary it will NOT connect an X-Box to an HD-ready TV!
Forget it, 14 Nov 2008
Just got this cable and I must say you DO get what you pay for. Quality of the picture is OK but contrast changes through out, blinks all the time. Oh and did I mention that every time I switch my TV off and on, cable connection can't be found by my Sky Box nor my telly?10 pounds in the bin.
Rusbbish if you ask me, go to Sony or something shop and buy the real thing.
Quality cable for this price range. Work great on 1080p/24, 13 Nov 2008
I my self use QED cables, but my friend don't want to spend crazy money like I'd on QED's.
So we bought this cable and found no issues what so ever.
(Bought 1.2m and 2.4m)
Blu-ray though PS3 shows 1080p/24 on Sammy!
Will recommend this to anyone looking for quality cable at cheap price.
Not fully wired; useless for home cinema, 11 Nov 2008
Tried using this to connect a Panasonic LCD TV to a Panasonic home cinema system.
Picture was fine, but the two devices couldn't communicate. Swapping this for the free cable that came with my V+ soon fixed that problem.
So, avoid if you want this to link a home cinema with a TV.
Product is fine, but Amazon delivery is appauling - too much hassle, 11 Nov 2008
I ordered this cable with Sony Cinema system and paid for the First Class deliver of both items. The cinema arrived on time, was left with the porter. The cable was supposed to be delivered on Saturday (a couple of days after the cinema). It was not delivered. Then royal mail "tried" to deliver on Monday at 2pm (obviously no-one there, except my porter, whom they didn't bother to ask, unlike all the other couriers) and left me a note to pick the cable up at their storage office. Alternatively they could re-deliver in 3 days...making it 1.5 weeks delivery time for the first class courier. I could not believe that there was such a hassle for a £10 cable! This must be a joke. Guys, not worth a hassle, just buy one in a nearby electronics shop.
