Criminal postage charges!, 21 Oct 2008
I thought one of the previous reviewers who said postage was too much was quoted £7.49 because he is from Turkey.
However, I just went to buy this item and was quoted the following;
Amazon.co.uk Marketplace Order Summary
Items: £3.64
Postage & Packing: £8.49
Promotion Applied: -£0.00
Total: £12.13
£8.49 postage for this item is criminal! Absolute rip-off. Thank goodness I didn't buy it.
pretty handy little thing, 29 Aug 2008
woke up to find a huge cardboard box outside my room, wondering what it could be, i ripped the box apart to find the anti static wrist strap, which was a bit odd seeing as they needed a arms length box to fit it in, either way, i got it the next day, even ordering at round about 5ish.
I had never sued one of these before, but its really really easy, works like a charm and fits all wrist sizes, and it can stretch pretty far, and it doesn't get in the way.
worth getting if your doing a lot of pc building or other electrical work that doesn't have another method of grounding yourself.
A deal is a deal... they shouldn't change their minds about the price., 07 Jul 2008
ordered it for 1p + 4.50 p&p, and got an email message few days later that it was out of stock, with the order dissapeared from My Accounts order history (so I can't leave feedback).
But I clicked a link in the email notification, and here it is, still for sale, but for 1.95! Looks like they changed their minds about the price.
Good value (though mine was a gift!) and comfortable, 11 Apr 2008
I received one of these as a Christmas gift from my wife a couple of years ago. I keep it in its box on top of my PC's case and so am never tempted to open the case without using it.
I'm not sure what it cost, but delivery wasn't an issue because I know it was purchased in a computer store that's just a ½-hour walk from here.
The strap is comfortable to use. I'm not sure I've ever had an ESD problem ruin any PC parts, but I've had a few bits and pieces of PC kit fail over the years and one new CPU, too (replaced at no extra cost to me by the local computer shop -- their first query was where did I get my WinXP from, as though a pirated piece of software was to blame, but they changed their tune when I reminded them I'd bought the WinXP upgrade from them!). I'm not sure if errant handling was to blame or if it was a dodgy processor.
Prior to owning this wristband, I used the "always touch the case first" rule, and I suppose I still do, out of habit, but I've installed quite a bit of kit wearing the wristband and haven't had any problems.
Extortionate P&P - Beware!, 21 Jan 2008
Sorry, this is not a review of the product as such, because I never bought it. I NEARLY ordered this item, but then spotted that they were about to charge me 7.49 pounds postage and packing!! How on earth can 'Lizardprice' justify that - a bit of cable, some velcro and a crocodile clip cannot weigh that much!

Wonder-machine, 06 Aug 2008
I`m very pleased with this equipment. It does as it says (if used correctly) money well spent, and as it is plastic, no worries about static electricity.
Worth buying.
Waste of money, 28 Jul 2008
Agree with the other reviewers. There appears to be no suction at all, the unit having a set of blades that whirr around much like a fan but with very little power. I can blow harder than this. Don't waste your valuable batteries on this. Surprising really, Belkin products are normally not bad.
totally useless , 19 Feb 2008
like the other reviewer i also purchased this mini vacuum cleaner to clean my pc ...it is however woefully underpowered and does not easily pick up dust and the little tools that come with it are next to useless ....i guess for the price i should have expected it .
Awful Piece of Equipment, 30 Oct 2005
I bought this some months ago and discovered that it was rubbish. The kit didn't help me clean my computer at all. I guess it sort of justifies it's price tag.

Its an OK cleaning kit, 07 Aug 2008
Bought this a while ago. I have used the fluid and cloths on my filters and left no streaks. I've no idea what the cotton buds are for though!
The blower is weak but serves its purpose for removing dust on filters without resorting to using the cleaning fluid.
For the money its ok, but there is better cleaning equipment out there....
Poor, 08 May 2008
I thought that this would be a decent kit. Instead it was rubbish.
The lens cleaning fluid smudges and leaves terrible streaks. Luckily I tried it out on my glasses first.
The cotton wool sticks leave fibers on the lens
The cloth also leaves fibres. Better off getting a microfibre cloth from specsavers!
The blower is weak and has a hole (was it meant to be valved?), the brush doesnt get used.
Highly NOT recommended
